General Information

Objectives
We wish to take advantage of the great variety of knowledge and approaches experienced on groundwater protection in different countries. The conference will focus on the practical development and implementation of groundwater protection plans, on the involvement and cooperation with stakeholders, and the need for new knowledge and tools. The focus area of the conference will be Northern Europe, given the similarities in hydrogeology, land use and climate.

The objective of the conference is to present and discuss strategies, methodologies, results and perspectives for groundwater protection. Participants are expected from authorities, water suppliers, farmers, consultings firms, universities and NGO's.
